
A good friend gave me a recipe for a vegan chickpea salad that rocked my world and inspired me to find more of this person’s recipes. Angela Liddon’s book, “Oh She Glows” is a must for anyone venturing into the vegan world. Angela is very precise with recipe preparation and gives hints about turning it into a gluten free and/or nut free dish when possible. This book is seriously a must IF you honestly plan to journey into very healthy eating with more veggies and fruits.
Another cookbook I highly recommend is Talia Pollock’s “Party in Your Plants”. Not only does she have lots of tasty dishes in this book, but she’s also a riot! This is a book of assorted recipes from appetizers to desserts and everything in between. Her non-vegan husband is her test kitchen. So far, I am impressed with how my dishes are turning out and look forward to sharing reviews with you as well.
