SPAGHETTI HAPPENS TO BE MY MOST FAVORITE FOOD IN THE WORLD!! My Mom made the BEST sauce and the only tweak I have made to this is not adding the meat and it still rocks! Mom would make her sauce in the morning and it would simmer all day, letting all those flavors blend and making our house smell delicious! When my brother and I were younger, we had a tea party with sauce we pilfered from the simmering pot. Mom kept saying, “this sauce is cooking down way too much”. Our secret would have been safe if we had washed the tea set dishes after our party. Hmmmm… This sauce is amazing over pasta but can also be added to spiralized Zucchini noodles for a Gluten free approach. I prefer my noodles uncooked but you can add them to boiling water for 1 minute to soften, if you prefer. Serve this with a nice green salad, garlic bread and glass of red wine. YUM!
